Post Covid Umrah 2022 - Everything you need to know

Umrah 2022 is open! Things are slightly different at the moment though. Below is all the info you need prior to planning your trip.

The Basics...

1. Children can now enter the Holy Mosques.

2. You do not need to be vaccinated against Covid 19 anymore or take a PCR test prior to saying out.

3. Do ensure that you have obtained a visa for tourism or Umrah.

When you get to Saudi...

You will need to purchase a Saudi sim

4. Download an app:

Eatmarna - This app is for booking your Umrah. You will need to submit the date and time that you intend to perform Umrah. You will have to present your booking on your phone when you enter the Holy Mosque.

While you are there...

5. There is a one way system in place at the moment. When you enter for Umrah or Tawaf, you may need to leave from a designated exit.

6. You will need to keep your phone with you at all times in case you are asked to show whether you have pre-booked your Umrah or Ziyarah in Madinah.

7. You will be allowed to sit in the Holy Mosques after Salah has ended.
